AT&T DSLAT&T DSL On March 4, 2006, BellSouth Corporation, entered into a Merger Agreement with AT&T, and ABC Consolidation Corp., a Georgia corporation and wholly-owned subsidiary of AT&T. The Merger Agreement provides that, basically, AT&T will merge with and into BellSouth, with BellSouth continuing as the surviving corporation and a wholly-owned subsidiary of AT&T (the "Merger"). If you find it all confusing, it is! With VOIP and Cable Internet becoming more popular, many of the large telecommunications companies are merging together to compete against eachother. AT&T Merged with BellSouth, so now their DSL services are part of SBC.
